Introducing an eagerly anticipated collaboration between Alaska Airlines and MotoArt, who partnered in 2023 to create Alaska Airlines Airbus A319 PlaneTags.

N522VA, an Airbus A319-112, took its first flight June 16, 2006 and was delivered to Virgin America on June 29, 2006. It was later transferred to Skybus in February 2007, then back to Virgin America in July 2008. Alaska Airlines and Virgin America merged operations in 2018, bringing N522VA into the Alaska fleet until its eventual retirement in March 2020. In 2023, MotoArt preserved a slice of the airline’s history as PlaneTags.
91 years ago, Alaska Airlines began as a small regional carrier with unscheduled service aboard its single plane. Today the airline is renowned for its exceptional passenger service and expanding routes. Alaska Airlines operates flights to more than 115 destinations within the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Central America aboard its all-Boeing 737 fleet.

PlaneTags are made from actual retired aircraft fuselage, not merely stamped metal. Because PlaneTags are made from real fuselage, each PlaneTag bears the color, thickness, and wear and tear from the portion of the fuselage from which it was cut and it is therefore rare to create two identical PlaneTags. These variations and imperfections are not product flaws. They are part of the beauty of PlaneTags. As a result, you will not have an option to select the color of your PlaneTag. The images on this website are provided for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular PlaneTag.

I really love how well and unique these composite cuts were done on these tags. The red undercoat on them bring even more life to these amazing tags!
Ordered a dark blue/white variant and it's so beautiful, I really love quality of the engraving
Was extremely lucky to get a green/light blue composite tag that quickly has become my jewel of the collection. Such a great release!
Love the light blue tags, this plane created some great tag colors and variety!
These tags are outstanding, besides all of the different varieties of colors both composite and metal. Being able to own a piece of a plane I watched at PDX many times is a great honor! Alaska airlines was one of my most frequented airlines as a child and to have a piece of it is amazing!
These Alaska Airlines A319-NS522VA tags are a must-have for the collectors out there. I got the Dark Blue/White Combp composite tag, & my, what a gorgeous piece! The red coming through the etching is eye-catching, to say the least- and at $74.95 a bargain for such a beauty. You can't go wrong with this one!
Commercial aviation is my first love so had to get a complete set of AS N522VA...and PlaneTags did not disappoint! Love the unique colors, former livery seen under some of the engravings, and the substantial variety in tags...awesome release!
The Alaska Airlines A319 composite PlaneTag is a real stunner! I love how you can see the ex-****** America red color through the etching in this tag! Truly a winner!
The tag is really nice, with a good thickness and quality. I'm very happy with my purchase. The color options are great.
This plane retired with Alaska, but I flew it a looooong time ago when it was with the short-lived discount airline Skybus and grabbed one in light blue, as it was the closest color to the Nationwide logo on the plane at the time. First Airbus tag and a nice one!
The many varieties of this issue are really amazing. Understandable, that many variations have been sold out so fast, I am very happy being able to get some. Still there are some available, I can only recommend to take the opprortunity as long as possible. Especially the composite variants are great, the red color of the engraving looks beautiful.
An irresistible item for composite material enthusiasts
